PURPOSE:To obtain a phosphoric acid type fuel cell having good gas sealing property and capable of being easily supplied with phosphoric acid in a short time, by assigning the role of gas sealing property to a packing material having excellent gas sealing property and assigning only the role of phosphoric acid supply route to a moisture sealing part, while the particle size of filler filled therein being enlarged. CONSTITUTION:Since a packing material 8 excellent in its gas sealing property is employed, gas sealing in ranges (A), (B) and (C) is almost perfect. Therefore, gas sealing property is not required in a moisture sealing part 7, thereby substance consisting of particles with large diameter can be used as filler. In addition, since grooves 9 are provided in a gas separator plate 1 and tubes 10 are fit therein and pushed to be fixed there, by means of the packing material 8 for the purpose of supplying phosphoric acid in an outer reservoir 6, the process of work is simple. Further, it is enough for the present purpose, just to stick needles into tubes 10 so as to inject phosphoric acid therein by means of an injector for supplying phosphoric acid and to fuse the tip of the tubes 10 by heating to close it after finishing the supply of phosphoric acid. |
