PURPOSE:To always form an information recording medium to a certain shape in the recording and reproducing position even if the medium is deformed, by curving a part, which corresponds to a recording and reproducing head, of a moving path of the medium in the moving direction of the medium. CONSTITUTION:Driving rolls 5a, 5b, and 5c and pressing rolls 6a, 6b, and 6c corresponding to them are provided, and an optical head 4 is provided in a position corresponding to the roll 5b. Auxiliary rolls 50 and 51 are provided in both sides of the roll 6b, and a difference of height between the lower end of the roll 6b for pressing of an optical card 1 and upper ends of rolls 50 and 51 is made smaller than the thickness of the card 1. The card 1 is fed from the side of the roll 5a and is driven by rolls 5a and 5b; and at the time of its front end reaches the roll 51, the card 1 is pressed by rolls 50 and 51 and the roll 6b and is bent downward. If rolls 50 and 51 are provided in both sides of the roll 5b and pressing rolls corresponding to the roll 5b are removed, the card 1 is bent upward.
