PURPOSE:To obtain the characteristic in which advance proceeds in a prescribed revolution-number range by comparing the first and the second triangular-waves triggered by the first and the second timing pulses at the max. and the min. ignition angles. CONSTITUTION:A condenser C is charged by the voltage of a power generating coil EXT in a main circuit I , and said electric charge is discharged in an ignition coil Igc through an SCR which is put into electric conduction by a trigger signal, and the max. and the min. ignition angles set for each revolution cycle of an engine in the first and the second timing pulse generating circuits can be obtained. A triangular wave which ascends at a prescribed tilt angle in synchronization with the second timing pulse and descends in synchronization with the second timing pulse in the next cycle can be obtained in the first triangular- wave generating circuit II, and a triangular wave which ascends at the first and the second tilt angles in synchronization with the first timing pulse and descends in synchronization with the second timing pulse can be obtained in the second triangular-wave generating circuit III. In a comparison circuit IV, the SCR is triggered through a gate circuit V by the output in the case when the peak value of the second triangular-wave exceeds the peak value of the first triangular wave. |
