PURPOSE:To obtain an optimum power transmitting characteristic, by easily adjusting a charging rate of a viscous fluid even after the fluid is charged into a power transmitting chamber. CONSTITUTION:Annular first plates 14 and annular second plates 15 are provided in a liquid-tight power transmitting chamber 11 which is annular in section in such a manner that the plates 14 and 15 are alternately stacked onto each other. A viscous fluid is charged in the power transmitting chamber 11. The power transmitting chamber 11 is communicated with an adjusting chamber 27, whose volume is adjustable, for adjusting a charging rate of the viscous fluid. |
