<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a cursor display controller by registering both the size and the form of a cursor for each window in a multi-window display mode and then displaying those cursor sizes and forms with switching. CONSTITUTION:A multi-processor 1 receives a cursor register instruction from the outside and registers both horizontal and vertical sizes of a cursor on a memory area corresponding to a window number and also cursor pattern data on a memory 21. When an interruption is applied to the processor 1 from a timer 3 after reception of a cursor display instruction, the processor 1 selects the cursor information corresponding to the window where the cursor is set presently out of the memory 21. The contents of a display data memory 4 are always sent to a CRT monitor 6 and therefore the cursor of the designated contents is displayed. When the cursor is shifted to a widow (n) from a window 1, the processor 1 switches the cursor information to the window (n).</p> |
