<p>PURPOSE:To easily produce a converted document by displaying the synonyms of the words included in a produced document and then replacing the selected synonym with the word in the document through a word replacing part. CONSTITUTION:A cursor is shifted to the position of 'YOMU' and a request is given to an input part 1 for conversion of synonyms. This information is sent to a control part 3 through a KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI (Chinese character) converting part 2. Then an indication is given to a grammar analysis part 4 to perform the grammatical analysis of a character string 'YONDA'. The part 4 retrieves a synonym dictionary 8 and recognizes that 'YOMU' shows the stem of a verb of MA-series/5-conjugation) and the part 'YONDA' is replaced. Then a synonym display part 9 refers to a table of synonyms and recognizes 'DOKUSHO' and 'JUKUDOKU'. These words are displayed on a CRT screen at a time. If an operator chooses 'JUKUDOKU', a character string 'JUKUDOKU SHITA' is produced with reference to a connection table 10. This character string is replaced with 'YONDA' and displayed on the CRT screen.</p> |
