PURPOSE:To set up a button type dry battery including no mercury, by forming the negative pole active substance inside the button type dry battery, with an organic substance which forms compound film accompanying its chemical reaction with zinc, an alkaline electrolytic liquid including zinc oxide, zinc and a gelling agent. CONSTITUTION:The dry battery in the caption is such a dry battery as having a negative pole made of zinc and its negative pole active substance being composed of an electrolytic liquid formed by getting zinc oxide and at least one kind of organic substance selected out of benzotriazole tolyltriazole, nephthotriazole, benzotriazolecarboxylic acid and benzimidazole, included therein, further composed of zinc and a gelling agent. Namely, a separator 4 for separating a positive pole substance 3 from the negative pole substance 6 and a liquid absorbing material 5 for holding the electrolytic liquid are placed on the positive pole substance 3, and the negative pole substance 6 is filled on the liquid absorbing material 5. |
