PURPOSE:To obtain a high color density of the color image for a short period by developing the silver halide color photographic sensitive material provided at least one layer of photosensitive layers on a reflective substrate body with a color developer which does not substantially contain benzyl alcohol in the presence of a specific compd. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material provided at least one layer of the silver halide photosensitive emulsion layers on the reflective substrate body is developed with the color developer which does not substantially contain benzyl alcohol in the presence of the compd. shown by the formula for <=2.5min. In the formula, R1-R3 are each an alkyl or an aryl group, etc., (m) is an integer, L is a (m) valent org. group which binds with P-atom through a carbon atom of the org. group, (n) is an integer of 1-3, X is an (n) valent anion. If the compd. is added to the photosensitive material or the non-photosensitive material contd. in the photosensitive material, the used amount of the compd. shown by the formula is preferably 10<-6>-10<-1>mol per 1mol of silver halide contd. in the photosensitive material. Thus, the color print having a good color developing ability and a high contrast can be obtd. |
