PURPOSE:To provide a continuous infusibilization furnace, by providing a shaking off device in the inlet of a J-shaped box of an insufibilization furnace and further providing a fiber passage part and plural hot air passage parts in the interior of the J-shaped box. CONSTITUTION:Carbon fibers are dropped into a fiber passage part (1a) in a J-shaped box 1 by a traversing device 6 and hot air is blown off from hot air blowing pipes 4 through plural chambers (3a), (3b)... divided by partition plates 5 and air-permeable wall 2 and then discharged from a discharge pipes 40 to the outside to oxidize and infusibilize the surfaces of the carbon fibers 7. The deposited fibers move by their own weight and are taken from the outlet of the J-shaped box 1 to the outside after a given time.
