EROSION PREVENTING METHOD FOR REFRACTORY BODY AT HOT SPOT PART OF LF LADLE |
摘要 |
PURPOSE:To prevent the erosion of the refractory body at the hot spot part of an LF ladle by blowing an inert gas from a porous plug while under refining a liquid metal with its heating. CONSTITUTION:A molten steel 6 and slag 7 are melted in an LF plate and the heating is performed by an electrode 4 with blowing an inert gas from the lower part porous plug 5. The inert gas is further blown by setting up a porous plug 8 at the side face of the refactory body 2 of the lower part of a slag line refactory body 3. In this way the slag 7 is sufficiently stirred and the contact area of the refactory body and slag can be reduced as well. Consequently the using times of the refactory body is increased and the service life of the refactory body can be expended remarkably since the erosion of the refactory body at the hot spot part of the LF ladle is reduced.
