PURPOSE:To obtain the lining tube without the generation by any trouble due to the thermal stress by closely fitting to the base tube inner face the thin lining tube stock providing a spiral reinforcing metal on the outer peripheral face. CONSTITUTION:A spiral reinforcing metal 14 is fitted on the outer peripheral face of a thin lining tube stock 12 and inserted into the base tube 11. This lining tube stock 12 is formed by closely fitting to the inner face of the base tube 11 by applying the stress exceeding the yield point of the thin lining tube stock 12 by explosive pressure welding, hydraulic pressure welding, etc. Since the cross section of the lining pipe is formed in wavy shape the thermal expansion difference in the lining material of a corrosion resistant material and base metal is absorbed. Consequently the thermal stress load onto the end part of the lining tube is reduced and the lining tube high service life is obtd.
