PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of producing a die by sticking a plastic material consisting of sinterable metallic powder and a synthetic resin binder onto the outside surface of a pattern to form a molding then disposing pins for forming main vent holes and executing a sintering treatment. CONSTITUTION:The pattern 9 having projecting parts 9a corresponding to the recesses of the die is precisely formed of ceramics and the sheet-like plastic material kneaded with the sinterable metallic powder and synthetic resin binder is stuck via an adhesive agent to the outside surface to form the molding 10. The synthetic resin pins 11, 12 are than pierced into the positions corresponding to the main vent holes and blowing and packing holes of the molding 10, then the molding 10 is installed in a heat resistant vessel 13. A back up material 14 is further packed therein and the sintering treatment is executed in a vacuum sintering furnace 15. Since the many vent holes and packing ports are formed by the pins 11, 12, the cost of producing the die is reduced.
