PURPOSE:To permit optional online setting of a roll width by fitting stationary rolls and moving rolls to both ends of an outside peripheral screw of a roll shaft and moving the moving rolls by a prescribed roll width adjusting screw and external gear. CONSTITUTION:The stationary horizontal roll 21b and the movable horizontal roll 21a are fitted onto the outside peripheral screw part 24b of the roll shaft 22 by which a lower horizontal roll 21 is formed. The roll width adjusting screw 24a screwed to the screw 24b is fitted to the inside end face of the roll 21a and the external gear 26 is meshed with the gear part 25 on the outside periphery thereof. The change of the roll width is executed by removing a prescribed stopper, meshing the gears 26, 25, rotating the gear and moving the roll 21a to change the spacing according to the above-mentioned constitution. The upper horizontal roll 20 is similarly constituted. The optional online setting of the roll width is thus made possible. |
