PURPOSE:To shorten exchanging time for short side wall of a mold by arranging an outer layer between an thermal insulating material and a fixed plate for the short side wall of the mold and also arranging the outer layer, which fixes the thermal insulating material freely attachably and detachably to the fixed plate. CONSTITUTION:The outer layer 11 is arranged between the thermal insulating material 9 and the fixed plate 12 for the short side wall of the mold, and also fixes the thermal insulating material 9 at a fixing groove 15 of the outer layer 11. Further, the outer layer 11, which fixes the thermal insulating material 9, is arranged at the fixed plate 12 freely attachably and detachably through connecting pins 17. When the thermal insulating material 9 for the short side wall of the mold is damaged by metallic belt or roll, the connecting pin 17 is taken out to extract the outer layer 11 by a hanging piece 18 of the outer layer 11. Next, new thermal insulating material 9 is inserted into the outer layer 11 and then, the outer layer is fixed at the fixed plate 12 by the pin 17. In this way, exchanging time for the short side wall of the mold is shortened. |
