PURPOSE:To enhance a head matching property by eliminating sticking and scum adhering trouble, in a thermal recording material utilizing color forming reaction between a leuco dye and a developer, by having fine silica particles subjected to spherical surface treatment contained. CONSTITUTION:By using fine silica particles subjected to spherical surface treatment in a range of 0.5-10pts.wt. of 1pt. of a leuco dye, a thermal recording material improved in a head matching property at the time of recording, generating almost no sticking and scum adhesion and extremely reduced in the effect on the life of a head can be obtained. The fine silica particles are fine hollow silica globules sold at a market as a light wt. inorg. filler of various building materials, a coking material and coating material and can be obtained by spherical molding at the time of the formation of a silica powder. |
