PURPOSE:To make it possible to stably keep strong adhesiveness to the photosensitive resin layer of screen base cloth, by a method wherein low temp. plasma treatment is applied to the surface of the screen base cloth and the treated cloth is immediately packed with a packing material low in moisture permeability and/or oxygen permeability to be preserved until a processing period. CONSTITUTION:Low temp. plasma treatment is applied to the surface of screen base cloth comprising monofilament cloth made of a natural fiber with a diameter of 25-150mum under pressure of 0.01-10Torr and the treated base cloth is immediately packed with a packing material low at least in one of moisture permeability and oxygen permeability to be preserved in this packing state until a desired processing period. As the packing material for blocking moisture, for example, a material of which moisture permeability is 50g/m<2>.24hr/25mum or less under a condition of 40 deg.C and 90% RH such as low density polyethylene is used. As the packing material low in oxygen permeability, for example, a material of which oxygen permeability is 100cc/m<2>.24hr.atm/25mum or less under a condition of 25 deg.C and 50% RH such as polyvinylidene chloride is used. By this method, a photosensitive resin layer can be formed on the preserved screen base cloth at an arbitrary period. |
