PURPOSE:To utilize an unused surface of a machine tool as a receiving place by tightly providing a flexible belt providing a tool holding means at the fixed intervals on a flexible connecting member in the omnidirection. CONSTITUTION:When an exchanging operation of a tool 13 is performed for a main spindle 3 of a machine tool 1, a sprocket 7 is rotated and driven, and a flexible belt 9 is moved along frames 6a and 6b. And a tool link 10 secured in a tool pot 12 receiving the exchangeable tool 13 is positioned at the fixed tool exchanging position. Tool exchange is performed in this condition, but at this time the flexible belt 10 is smoothly moved along the frames 6a and 6b because of freely flexing in the omnidirection with a connecting member 11 provided between the tool links 10. |
