PURPOSE:To perform a high quality deep drawing giving an excellent shape by keeping a die, sheet holder, and punch head at prescribed temps. respectively for deep drawing of a stainless clad steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:A stainless clad steel sheet consisting of an iron containing 0.12% C, 0.50% Mn, <=0.05% P, 0.05% S, and the balance Fe as the base metal and of an austenitic stainless steel as the cladding material is deep drawn using a heat resistant lubricant. In that time, a die 4 and a blank holder 5 are kept in 60-150 deg.C by a heater 3. The head of a punch 2 is kept in -10-+10 deg.C by flowing a cooling medium from a medium inlet 7 to a medium outlet 8. When a work is performed under those specific conditions, a specially outstanding workability is obtained to perform the high quality deep drawing giving an excellent shape.
