PURPOSE:To improve the communication efficiency by allowing the sending side to send plural originals continuously at once and allowing the reception side to form an image continuously at reception and copying the plural originals with respect to each of the plural originals after the end of reception. CONSTITUTION:When plural originals to be sent exist, the plural originals are sent continuously and the original image is formed continuously in response thereto at the reception side and stores them. When the transmission of all originals is finished, a reader section (6 or 8) and a print section (7 or 9) at the reception side apply a local copy with respect to the stored copy image to obtain the required number of sheets. That is, the sent image is printed out by the printer section and the result is accumulated on an original image sheet tray 15A of an automatic original carrying equipment ADF 16 via a path (a). When the transmission is finished, the said output paper sheets are sent one by one to the reader section via a path (b) and the required number of sheets are copied in cooperation with the printer section.
