发明名称 THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording material generating no lowering in color developability or fog and having excellent light fastness, by having specific benzotriazole compound being an ultraviolet absorbent and a specific diphenolic compound being a photooxidation inhibitor contained in a thermal color forming layer based on a leuco dye and a coupler. CONSTITUTION:As an ultraviolet absorbent, a compound represented by formula (I) (wherein R1, R2 and R3 are a halogen atom or a 1-8C alkyl group) is used and, as a photooxidation inhibitor, a compound represented by formula (II) (wherein R is a 1-5C alkyl group and R1 and R2 are a 1-3 alkyl group) is used. In preparing this thermal recording material, a dispersion of the compound represented by the formula (I) and the compound represented by the formula (II) is added to an aqueous solution based on a leuco dye, a developer and a binder and the resulting composition is sufficiently mixed to be applied to a support such as paper or synthetic paper.
