PURPOSE:To permit manufacture of the plastic diaphragm type product of complicated configuration by a method wherein the wall surface of a mold is covered with molten plastic and, thereafter, excessive solvent is evaporated and the mold is melted to flow out only the molding material. CONSTITUTION:A block type mold 33 prepared by a low melting point metal is provided with a multitude of heat dissipating core cavities 23 penetrating vertically through the mold. End plates 24, 25 are attached to the upper and lower surfaces of the mold 33 while these end plates 24, 25 are provided with holes 26 having the same shape as the heat dissipating core cavity 23. The mold 33 is dipped into the solution 27 of plastic to load it into the holes 26 of the end plates 24, 25 and into the heat dissipating core cavities 23, further, the solution is made to flow on the upper surface of the end plate 24. Subsequently, the mold 33 is elevated to flow the excessive plastic solution 27 and is dried, thereafter, the mold 33 is melted by heating, thereby manufacturing a product 29.
