PURPOSE:To enable the measurement of a number of samples without errors, by using a microwell slide having wells corresponding in the number and position for a plurality of wells on a microplate. CONSTITUTION:A specified antigen or antibody existing in plurality of wells on a microplate is shifted to a microwell slide having wells corresponding to the wells of the microplate with the specified antibody or antigen immobilized. Then, according to an ordinary method, an antigen-antibody composite formed in the wells of the microwell slide is detected whereby an antigen or antibody is detected. The microwell slide herein used is a flat plate of glass, plastic, ceramics, metal or the like of about 0.1-5mm in thickness, preferably 0.3-2mm in the material and shape. In addition, it is so arranged that the number and positions of the wells of the microplate used will be made clear on one side of the flat plate.
