PURPOSE:To surely take out sheet members one by one, by providing a holding cylinder for pressing the upper surface of a sheet member at the leading end thereof, a slide-up unit for curving a sheet member, and a movable chuck for pulling out a sheet member which has projected out. CONSTITUTION:A bushing section 7 of a holding cylinder 3 is at first lowered to hold one end of the topmost one of stacked sheet members 1 so that it is retained, and in this condition, a rubber roller 9 of a slide-up unit 4 is lowered to be made into press-contact with the sheet member 1 at a position around the middle section of the sheet member 1, and is rotated to curve the sheet member 1. Accordingly, when the bushing section 7 is elevated, the sheet member 1 is then stretched so that it is pinched between pinch rolls 11, and is then clamped by a movable chuck 5. Thus, even a sheet member which may not be taken out by a vacuum chuck 5 or a push-out device, may be taken out automatically.
