PURPOSE:To curtail the electric power consumption as well with organic composition in case of performing an electric power feeding to the respective parts by separating an operation part and disk reproducing mechanism part, by controlling the electric power feeding to the disk reproducing mechanism part in allowable state and shut-off state by discriminating the presence state and absence state of the data for communication fed out of the operation part. CONSTITUTION:The electric power supply to the main body 19 of a disk reproducing mechanism is continued by holding a power source switch 21 in ON state with the output of a detecting circuit 22 being held on H level, as shown in the figure (c) since the communication data is periodically outputted from the operation displaying circuit main body 15 as shown in the figure (b), when a power source switch 17 is in ON state in succession. In case the power source switch 17 is made in OFF state at the time T6 as shown in the figure (a) in the state like this, the output data fed from the main body 15 of the operation display circuit are shut off one-sidedly as shown in the figure (b). For this purpose the output of a detecting circuit 2 is reversed to L level at the time T7 as shown in the figure (c). The power source switch 21 then becomes in OFF state and the power supply from the power source 20 to the main body 19 of the disk reproducing mechanism is cut off.
