PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of information by converting data with the identification code corresponding to a circuit correspondence part and restoring the converted data also with the identification code corresponding to a circuit correspondence part. CONSTITUTION:The microprocessor of a multiplex facsimile signal converting part gives the instruction to a facsimile control part to transmit the picture signals via a bus and then writes the identification code corresponding to the circuit number # in 1:1 to a register 55. The picture signals are read out of a memory and pass through the 1st exclusive OR circuits 561-56m. In this case, those picture signals are inverted and outputted where logic 1 is supplied to the input terminal at the other end of the OR circuit 56 in response to the circuit number identification code written to the register 55. At the receiver side such an input signal that outputs the circuit number identification code corresponding in 1:1 to the circuit number to a logic circuit 65. Thus the picture signal restored to an original one is obtained from an exclusive OR circuit 66.
