PURPOSE:To make the apparatus compact and light-weight by providing such a structure as to perform lapping, gripping, transportation and ejection of sheets by a roller. CONSTITUTION:A roller arm 3 is fixed to a portion 7 of a wire 8 and moved by an arm moving motor 13. The wire 8 is endless, trained around pulleys 9, 10, 11, and the arm 3 reciprocatingly moves along trays 2 in parallel thereto. Power of a roller rotating motor 21 is transmitted through tranmission means 18, 19 such as belts and wires to rollers 4, 5 fixed to the arm 3 so as to rotate the rollers 4, 5. The apparatus is provided with control means composed of a sheet detecting sensor attached to the arm 3, stop position control means for the arm 3, a control unit 22 connected to these elements and motors 21, 13. As the result, the compact and light-weight apparatus is obtainable at a low cost, with no need of a deflector or the like.
