PURPOSE:To provide a transport device with simple construction, high transport power and small area for device occupation by furnishing a spiral spring having drive motive in its above or below, wherein the spiral spring is situated inside the transport pipe and capable of rotating. CONSTITUTION:Pulverized/granular substance supplied through a cast-in hole 1 is stored in a vertical fixed hopper 2. The substance stored transmits the torque from a drive motive to a pulley 9 via a chain 8 belt etc. An agitating mechanism 4 is fixed to a shaft 10 fixed to said pulley 9. A fixed hopper 2 in the form of a sealed inverted truncated cone having cast-in hole 1 is installed at a support table 12 and placed on a base 17. A flexible spiral spring 7 with an external dia., which is 3-15mm smaller than the inside dia. of transport pipe 6, is installed inside the pipe 6 with capability of rotating, and after fixation to a rotary shaft 15, is coupled to drive motive 3' so as to give high speed rotation to the spiral spring, whereby the pulverized/granular substance is transported to free space in the vertical direction.
