PURPOSE:To control temperature in a foot warmer further by a method wherein the output of a heater is monitored electrically and is controlled by whether a given output is being kept by a choked output than a rated output or the output is in changing and in an unstable condition. CONSTITUTION:An electric foot warmer is constituted of a ventilating device 2, a heat generating body unit 7 consisting of a heater 1 and a temperature sensor 5 detecting a temperature in the foot warmer and a control unit 11 having a control circuit 10, receiving the signal of the temperature sensor 5 and controlling the output of the heater 1. The control unit 11 monitors the output of the heater 1 and controls a temperature in the foot warmer by whether the output of the heater 1 is kept in a given output by choked output lower than a rated output or it is in changing and unstable output condition. When no man is using the foot warmer and the temperature in the foot warmer has been keeping a set temperature for a given period of time, the control unit reduces the temperature of the foot warmer, therefore, energy may be saved.
