PURPOSE:To obtain an optical record image having excellent specificity and high quality by irradiating radiations according to recording information on an optical recording medium having a recording layer contg. a polydiacetylene deriv. compd. and >=1 kinds of two specific compds. CONSTITUTION:This method has a stage for irradiating 800-900nm IR rays to the optical recording medium having the recording layer contg. the polydiacetylene deriv. compd. and >=1 kinds of the compds. expressed by formula (1) or (2) according to the recording information to discolor the irradiated part of the recording layer and stage for irradiating 550-750nm visible light to the discolored part of the recording layer to read the recording information. In formulas, R<1>-R<3> respectively denote aryl groups which may independently having substituents, R<4>, R<5> denote arylene groups which may have the substituent to form a conjugated double bond system with adjacent two -CH=CH- groups, R<6> denotes hydrogen or an aryl group which may have a substituent and A denotes an anion residue. |
