PURPOSE:To prevent a lens system from breaking down owing to an overload by powering off a motor if a lens stops abnormally during lens driving. CONSTITUTION:An AF start switch 2 is turned on to feed electricity to the motor 19 forward and the lens begins to be extended, but if the lens stops abnormally for some reason, a switch 7 is not turned on and off repeatedly. At this time, the output of an operation stop detecting circuit 14 goes up to H and the output of an OR element 15 also goes up to H, so the output of an AND element 16 goes down to L through an inverter 17 and the forward electric feeding to the motor 19 is cut off. At the same time, the output of the OR element 15 rises to H and the output of a delay circuit 50 falls to H a certain time later, so the motor 19 is powered on reversely to start resetting the lens 30. |
