PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive material which is highly resistant to intrusion of different processing soln. components by incorporating silver chlorobromide or silver chloride of a surface latent image type into at least one layer of emulsion layers and incorporating the compd. expressed by the specific formula into at least one layer of photographic constituting layers. CONSTITUTION:The silver chlorobromide or silver chloride of the surface latent image type is incorporated into at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layers and the compd. expressed by the formula (expressed as DIR compd.) is incorporated into at least one layer of the photographic constituting layers. The content of the DIR compd. is preferably 0.0001-0.005mol per mol of silver in a silver halide color photographic sensitive material. The DIR compd. is incorporated into at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layers and is particularly preferably incorporated into a green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and/or red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer. Processing stability is thus provided even if the intrusion of other processing soln. components arises. The specified photographic performance is thereby maintained.
