ABNORMALITY JUDGING DEVICE FOR COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To detect the abnormality of a compressor in an early stage and protect said compressor by always detecting the driving condition of a rotating source and the pulsating pressure of the discharging medium of said compressor while operating a warning means or a safety means when said conditions are varied. CONSTITUTION:A pulsating pressure sensor 20 is installed near the discharge valve of a housing and its output signal is inputted into a control unit 30. An ignition signal from the ignition coil 31 of an engine for driving a compressor is also inputted into the control unit 30 as a signal for indicating a driving condition. When the compressor is normally operated, the relation between both signals is constant and the control unit 30 monitors the relation but, when any change in the relation has occurred, it outputs a warning or disconnects a magnetic clutch 4 for transmitting the driving force.
