PURPOSE:To improve the seizing resistance and wear resistance of a vane by molding an iron group alloy powder having a composition of high speed tool steel or alloy tool steel and, after solid phase sintering the molded body, carrying out sealing surface treatment. CONSTITUTION:A vane 8 is formed by press molding an iron group alloy powder having a composition of high speed tool steel or alloy tool steel of Fe-4, Cr-5, Mo-6, W-2, V-1.1C alloy, etc. and, then, after sintering the molded body under a solid phase, by carrying out a sealing surface treatment by means of a steam treatment, etc. Since the sealing surface treatment is given to the vane 8 which is formed by this method, a sealing property can be improved while improving wear resistance and seizing resistance due to the oil holding effect of the pores of a sintered material.
