PURPOSE:To prepare easily and rapidly a sentence in which various languages are mixed by providing the first memory means to store a KANA (Japanese syllabary)-KANJI (Chinese character) converting candidate corresponding to an inputted KANA character and the second memory means to store a translating converting candidate corresponding to the inputted character. CONSTITUTION:In a KANA-KANJI converting dictionary 4, KANJI corresponding to an equivalent 'KANA' is stored with the KANA inputted from a keyboard 7 as a key, the corresponding KANJI mixing sentence is searched by respective assemblies of the inputted 'KANA'. In a Japanese English converting dictionary 5, the English word corresponding to the equivalent word is stored with a Japanese word as a key. Respective words are stored in the mode formed by coding a character column to constitute the word for one character, and in the address determined based upon the Japanese word, the English word is stored. In an English Japanese converting dictionary 6, the Japanese word corresponding to the English word is stored in the same system as that of the Japanese English converting dictionary.
