PURPOSE:To lower noise by forming a porous ceramic wall part in the vicinity of the discharge port of a casing, and embedding the resistance body of a blower resistor device for controlling a voltage applied to a motor. CONSTITUTION:A blower resistor device 5 is provided on the nose part 26 of a scroll casing 2, which is made of a porous ceramic. Coil-shaped resistance bodies 51, 52 are embedded in a resistor base 53. Thereby, the coil-shaped resistance bodies 51, 52 can be provided in the casing 2 in an integrated form, which can greatly reduce the turbulence of air flow while lowering noise.
