PURPOSE:To obtain a cover plate with good quality by using thermosetting acrylic resin for the cover plate for an instrument and reducing molding strain. CONSTITUTION:Chemically bridged linear polymethyl metacrylate are sued as the thermosetting acrylic resin. This materialis made in a block shape or a sheet shape with shape almost close to the cover front and this is charged in a die with the shape of the cover front and heated and pressurized and molded as the shape of the cover front. Since the cover plate 6 is made using such material, the molding strain is extremely reduced and made stable. Further, heat resistance can be improved and chemical resistance is also improved remarkably and the cover plate is not almost invaded by a volatile medical liquid of every kind from the inside of a meter 2. Further, since the molding is performed by hot-pressing, the cost of the die, namely, the cost of a product can be lowered.
