PURPOSE:To satisfactorily prevent the occurrence of the seizing during bend working and, at the same time, to easily remove the coating film of a stainless steel wire after working, by coating the surface of a stainless steel wire for bend working with a lubricating polymer film. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a stainless steel wire for bend working is coated with a lubricating polymer film. Examples of the lubricating polymer include synthetic resins such as polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene and urethane resin, and natural polymers such as protein and starch. After the working, the polymer film can be easily removed by means such as incineration or dissolution in a solvent. |
