PURPOSE:To set many functions to a fender by directly connecting a transmission case to the back of an engine having a backward output shaft, providing a hitch for connecting a working device on its rear end, and suspending the fender across the engine lower section and the hitch side section. CONSTITUTION:In this walking type control machine, a propelling wheel shaft 4 pivotally supported by a pair of the right and left propelling axles 3 is provided below a transmission case 2 connected to the back of an engine 1 having a backward output shaft, and a connecting hitch 8 for connecting a working device such as a tilling rotary is provided behind the case 2. A fender 11 located above the propelling wheel shaft 4 is provided across the engine 1 lower section and the hitch 8 side section. That is, the fender 11 is integrally formed with a solid plate and is connected to the rear end lower section of the engine 1 via an angle-shaped fitting bracket 12 and to a transmission case 2 via a plate- shaped bracket 13 protruded toward the lateral side of the hitch 8.
