IMAGE FORMING METHOD HAVING HEATING STAGE

PURPOSE:To stop development in the adequate developing stage and to prevent the generation of fogging by over development by heating in the presence of the compd. expressed by the specific formula. CONSTITUTION:Heating is executed in the presence of the compd. expressed by the formula in image formation having a heating stage. The compd. expressed by the formula is considered to release a development restrainer A-SH(A'-SH) during heating and this reaction progresses even if a base is not particularly supplied in the heat developing stage but the reaction is accelerated when the base is supplied. The effect of stopping the development is remarkably improved by the presence of the hydroxyl group in the formula particularly at p=q=1. The amt. of the compd. to be used is generally <=50wt% when a coated film is converted to a weight. The specified photographic performance is thus obtd. even if the heating temp. varies.
