PURPOSE:To simplify the construction work of mat foundation as well as raise the durability of the foundation by a method in which concrete for bottom slab is placed into the side walls of an excavated trench as a formwork, a deep reinforcing bar assembly is erected from the concrete, and concrete for beams is placed. CONSTITUTION:A strut 5 is erected on the ground 1 beneath the bottom 4 of an excavated trench 10 in the footing direction, and a beam-assembled reinforcing bar A consisting of lower end bars 6, upper end bars 14, and auxiliary bars 15 is fixed to the strut 5. Concrete for bottom slab 2 is then placed so that the thickness of the projected portion 7 becomes greater than the length of the projected portion 7 and the bottom face 11 is leveled with the ground's surface 8. A formwork for beam is formed around the bar A projected from the bottom face 11, and concrete for beam 13 is placed into the formwork. The concrete for the bottom slab 2 is joined with the side walls 9 of the excavated trench and strongly supported on the ground 1. The construction work can thus be simplified, and the durability of the footing can be enhanced.
