PURPOSE:To improve the suction efficiency by installing a rotary valve which is interlocked with the engine revolution and is driven through a device for varying the revolution phase into a suction system and forming a bypass passage on the downstream side of the rotary valve, permitting the free communication. CONSTITUTION:Into the manifold part in the connection part between a branched pipe 9 and a suction passage 31, a rotary valve 18 which is revolved through the crankshaft 24 of the engine and is revolved through a revolution phase controller 22 in the transmission mechanism is installed, and the timing of feed and stop of intake is controlled by a control unit 31. A bypass pipe 19 is allowed to communicate to the branched pipe 9 part, and an opening/ closing valve 20 is installed into the communication part with the branched pipe 9, and when the engine is in low load, etc., said opening/closing valve 20 is opened to eliminate the suction inertia of the rotary valve 18 system.
