The invention relates to a method and a device intended to produce longitudinal cuts inside tubes. The cutting tool comprises: a. a rigid head 901 with a rotating disc-electrode 902 and its turning collector 903, a transmission mounted in a cylindrical body 904, pressers 905 and a stop 906 regulating the cutting depth and an indexer 907 engaging in the cutting groove. b. a flexible supply (umbilical) line 908 conveying the coolant water of the disc and comprising a mechanical transmission 909 and a current supply 910.
