Packaging for eggs with system for immobilising the eggs and detachable egg cups. The invention consists, in a packaging method for eggs, of a box with a top formed by cavities which can be used as individual egg cups and are easily detachable by pressure-rupturing a preliminary cutting-out, and the bottom of these egg cups comprises thin flexible plastic strips which are deformable for immobilising the eggs when the box is closed. In the case of a box comprising a volume of 20 eggs or more, the lid, composed of the same detachable egg cups, is clipped by immobilising studs connecting the two parts of the box by means of simple pressure. <IMAGE>
