This encapsulation method, in which the stator of the electric motor is placed on a stator-carrying core inside the cavity defined by the mould cavities of two half-moulds of an encapsulation device, also consists in rendering rigid 21 the parts of the stator which are to be imperviously encapsulated. This method consists especially in placing, in the plane of the parting line 5 of the encapsulation device, two metal pins 21, these metal pins being connected to the winding of the stator and being intended to project from the stator once this has been encapsulated 6, so as to produce a pin-contact (male) electrical-connection socket 2 capable of being connected to an associated socket-contact (female) electrical-connection plug 3. <IMAGE>
