PURPOSE:To form a coating material compsn. having excellent resistance to oils and ozone and adhesion and suitable for use in preventing rubber goods from being cracked by ozone, by blending an unsaturated nitrile/hydrogenated conjugated diene copolymer with a halogenated polymer, a cresol-modified phenolic resin, etc., and an org. ketone solvent. CONSTITUTION:This coating material compd. is obtd. by blending the following components (a) to (d). (a): 100pts.wt. unsaturated nitrile/hydrogenated conjugated diene copolymer, (b): 15-100pts.wt. halogenated polymer, (c): 5-80pts.wt. cresol- modified phenolic resin and/or cashew-modified alkylphonol resin and/or p- hydroxystyrene polymer, and (d): an org. ketone solvent in such a quantity that the compsn. has a solid content of 3-70wt%. The compsn.; is useful as a coating material for use in preventing fuel that made of rubber, particularly for aircraft from being cracked by ozone.
