PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of complicated after-molding cure by a method wherein prefoamed cooled while being pressurized with inorganic gas at the predetermined pressure through the detection of the face pressure in a mold. CONSTITUTION:The in-mold face pressure of a foam 1 is detected with the pressure sensor 3 of a face pressure meter 2. The face pressure of the foam 1 lowers itself with the lowering in temperature of the foam 1. A calculator 4 calculates the proper pressure to pressurize the foam 1 in response to the face pressure at that time by always comparing the pressure value to pressurize the foam 1 in response to the face pressure with the face pressure data inputted from the face pressure meter 2. A pressure indicating controller 5 controls the openings of a pressurizing pressure equal to the predetermined pressure calculated by the calculator 4. Inorganic gas fed in a mold pressurizes the foam 1 through vapor holes 8 to the predetermined pressure. After being cooled while being pressurized, the foam 1 is removed from the mold in order to obtain a foam mold body true to the mold. |
