A hopper system formed from at least one hopper chamber or one container with a lower section which tapers downwards in the manner of a funnel, preferably for flour. To guarantee smooth discharge, a vertical, free-standing metal sheet is inserted in each funnel-shaped container part or one lower funnel-shaped part with a lower discharge opening of an intermediate chamber adjoining the container, the height of which metal sheet preferably corresponds approximately to the height of the respective lower funnel-shaped part, and the width of which corresponds approximately to the diameter of the discharge opening provided thereon. This metal sheet which is connected to a vibrator device is connected by fasteners to the vibrator device, to a discharge device arranged below the discharge opening provided on the funnel-shaped container part or to the container. If the discharge device is formed from a fan and a star feeder which lie in a common pipeline, the star feeder blades, whose outer edges slightly overlap the lower edge of the metal sheet, cause the vibration.
