<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the radius of curvature in the curved running route section by dividing the secondary conductor provided on the body of a rolling stock and by making the divided conductor sections so flexible as to travel along the guide rail. CONSTITUTION:The secondary conductor of a linear motor provided on a body is divided to form into three conductor segments D1 and D2 arranged in the forward and backward directions of the body. The conductor segment D1 of both front and rear ends is fixed to the front end of a plate-like frame 6c while the conductor segment D2 situated intermediately in the forward and backward directions is fixed to the cylindrical section fitted onto a support 4. Thus the three conductor segments D1 and D2 are bent to operate in the stance along the longitudinal direction of a guide rail B with the aid of a rolling wheel 8 guided by the guide rail B. Consequently, the radius of curvature in the curved running route section of the guide rail can be reduced.</p> |
