PURPOSE:To allow a single commander to cope with plural equipments to be controlled by providing a means selecting a specific custom code through a key operation and a means generating a control signal corresponding to the selection means. CONSTITUTION:According to the operational result of a custom code switching input key 15, that is, the selected custom code, any one of control signal generation means 21-23 is validated through a controlled device switching circuit 20, and a control signal generated in accordance with the operational result of control input keys 11-14 is transmitted to a transmission signal generation means 25. According to the operational result of the custom code switching input key 15, the custom code is transmitted to the transmission signal generation means 25 through a custom code selection means 26. The transmission signal generation means 25 combines the custom code with the control signal, and transmits them to the device to be controlled through a transmission part 17 without a wire.
