The washing machine or washing-drying machine is equiuped wiith an automatic detergent device and a washing liquor pump for the conveying of the washing liquor via an outflow tube. The outflow of the washing liquor container incorporates a buyoant body, which closes the outflow opening of the container after the disconnection of the washing liquor pump. The closing of the opening is effected by the water flowing from the washing liquor tube, which is provided with an additional water reservoir.
